Sea Fennel is making waves in skin care

A key ingredient in our silky Advantage Eye Cream, Sea Fennel (Chrithmum Maritimum) is being featured in beauty magazines as one of the super-star natural plant extracts appearing in skin-care ingredient lists. The bluish green plant – also known as rock samphire – grows in sea sand and packed with radiance-boosting marine minerals.

According to beauty guru Huda Kattan, Sea Fennel is so rich in Vitamin A that it’s considered a natural form of retinol, brightening Vitamin C and Vitamin E, and tiny peptides, to support collagen and cell renewal. It’s also gentle enough for the delicate under-eye area.

That’s not all, you’ll also find Buckwheat (Polygonum Fagopyruma)  extract in our Eye Cream, which acts three ways to target under-eye puffiness, fine lines and dark circles.

“The little-known ingredient is actually rather impressive, boasting properties that reportedly allow it to be soothe, de-puff, and strengthen your skin,” says Bustle.com, calling Buckwheat the next hot new ingredient everyone’s talking about.

Rich in antioxidants, like our signature organic Rooibos extract, Buckwheat is also reputed to be a stellar protective against pollution and sun damage. No wonder then that luxury brands like Tata Harper, Sisley and others also use it.
